«Magdalena» Floreal motif inspired from Maria Magdalena’ s robe, painted by Lorenzo Veneziano in the famous «Lion» ‘fondo-oro’ polyptych dated 1354, and now preserved at the Accademia Museum in Venice.

The pattern represents pomegranate flowers, hand-printed with metallic gold.

Width: 137 cm. (printed) 150 cm. tot. width of fabric. Available on stock in 9 colours based on the natural shades of the original pigments used by painters at the time: Venetian Red (red oxyde), Slate, Gesso, Vert-de-gris, Ceruleum, Yellow Ochre/Sunlight, Porporina/Aurora, Alizarin/Redentore, Natural. Black Oxyde and other colours as atelier custom orders, at extra cost. Available (permanent collection) in two fabric qualities: "Florin" serge: 320 gr/sqm.,56%linen - 44%cotton, and "Cyprus", 250 gr/sqm 100% linen finest sheer from Flanders. The collection can be completed by the Byzantine Ornaments, which are a series of 12 painted friezes and borders inspired from venetian sacred paintings, available in heights of 5 to 15 cm., the ornaments are presented as an original solution to enrich the decorative apparatus of the collection.
